Our two Burmese cats like to curl up next to Erin
Update Aug 2012. There have been a few weird comments. First of all, Erin (a girl) is now 5 years old and still sleeps with the cats. She has little sister who is almost 3 and the cats love her too. Erin picks the cats up and lies on the sofa with them on top of her watching TV.
For those questioning our parenting skills, my wife is a Hospital Consultant who delivers babies for a living.
The cats never slept at night with our girls, mainly because the cats fidget and would wake them up, but do I have any concerns about them smothering the child? No!
