WATCH: Cat Missing For 16 Months Found Living In Most Purrfect Place

A clever kitty who disappeared 16 months ago has been found living inside a pet food warehouse.

Clive the Norwegian Forest cat vanished from his home in Nottinghamshire, central England, when he was nine months old, in Oct. 2014, reports the BBC.

Owner Tanya Irons thought she’d never see her fluffy kitten again.

But little did she know, he’d actually holed up just two miles away at Kennelgate Pet Superstores.

Free to roam the aisles of the 20,000 square foot factory at night, he reportedly beefed himself up after feasting on the food.

Bosses realized there was a feline intruder several weeks ago after he kept setting off alarms. A cat trap was set, the prowler puss was captured on Wednesday and identified from his micro-chip.

“I can’t believe he’s so porky,” Irons told the BBC after being reunited with the animal.

The 28-year-old told the Nottingham Post she was excited to take him home but nervous as to how his two brothers, George and Leon, would react when they were reunited.

It’s not known exactly how long Clive called the store home, but Kennelgate Pet Superstores’s retail operations director Colin Lewis said it was great to see the two-year-old back  with his owner.

“I’m happy they’re back together again,” he told the BBC. “It’s been a strange day at the office.”
